June 5, 2004 is a night Jerrod would just as soon forget. Several engine problems cost Jerrod a good night racing. The first problem came early and causing him to miss hot laps and continued on into the first heat race. Although having engine problems Jerrod did manage to finish 4th which transferred him to the feature. Starting 15th in the feature Jerrod worked his way to 10th before the first caution came out, when engine problems bit Jerrod again. After the restart Jerrod was able to work his way to 5th before the second caution came out. Still have major engine problems Jerrod was unable to stay inline for the restart and had to retire to the pits for his first DNF of the year. Jerrod hopes to rebound this week with 5 straight nights of racing starting with Belleville IL. with the All-Star Circuit of Champions.
