Jerrod Hull Motorsports
July 12, 2005
Jerrod Hull and Jerrod Hull Motorsports once again found themselves in top-5 competition this weekend as they split events with the DeReu 50 and their own #12 Avenger Chassis at the Lee County Fair at Donnelson, IA. Friday night's action on July 8 found Jerrod teaming up with Scott Bonar and the Midland Performance/Cernovich’s/Rodger Wagner Construction/Midland Sign Solutions/Newberry Mow and Snow/ Avenger 50 car. Hull powered the 50 car through heat race action to garner a 12th starting spot in the feature. With a caution-free feature, it was all up to driver skill and track knowledge, and Hull did just that as he picked up Hard Charger honors with is 5th place finish.
The team then rushed back to their hometown of Sikeston, Missouri to put the finishing touches on the D&T Carpets/Ozarc Gas/Hampton & Webb Architects/Midland Performance/Studio One/Webb Racing Avenger #12 machine and headed to Lake Ozark Speedway in Eldon, MO. Through heat-race competition, Hull transferred to the Feature event where he began 8th. With a racy track hitting the bottoms of his Hoosier tires, Hull was able to weave through traffic and find himself on point and eventually complete the event in victory lane.
He said of his win, “It’s great to get the Avenger in victory lane 10 times already, and to do it at such a nice track like Lake Ozarks; everyone is great there. Adding this 360 motor to our program has been great. We get to do more shows, and become more visible for our sponsors and advertisers. We are nearing about the mid-way of our season, and I just want to thank some of my product support like Simpson, Weld, and Hoosier. Their support helps keep this team going with their great products.” For more information, logon to www.jerrodhullmotorsports.com. |
