Jerrod Hull and the DeReu Crew took to the dirt for the final Ideal Ready Mix Sprint Invader "Wild Winged Wednesday" of the season Wednesday night at 34 Raceway in Burlington, Iowa.  Jerrod parked the Rich DeReu-owned/Scott Bonar-wrenched Midland Performance/Cernovich’s/Rodger Wagner Construction/Midland Sign Solutions/Newberry Mow and Snow/ Avenger 50 in victory lane after winning his heat race, and then shook things up by placing 3rd in the night's Shake up event.

After John Schulz won the dash and pulled the #2 pill out of the bag, Jerrod learned he would start the feature on the inside of the 2nd row.  Hull took advantage of some early cautions and reds in the event to help motor the 50 car to the front.

"I just needed to stay out of trouble in the beginning of that race and then hit my marks and work through some lapped traffic when things settled down a bit," he said. "It's exciting to win at Burlington., it's a great facility and a lot of drivers that run with the Invaders consider this their 'home track,' including the 50-car.  We were here earlier in the season and didn't fare as well due to a mechanical fluke.  I really wanted to get this win tonight to help push the 50 car and team into the Iowa Sprint Weeks.  This is a lot of momentum as we are looking at running the 360 Nationals and other events at Knoxville in the upcoming weeks."

This win marks Hull's 13th on the season at 9 different tracks, and has locked down the big check at 7 of the 13 Sprint Invader shows ran this year for Rich DeReu and the 50 Crew.  For more information about Jerrod Hull, check out www.jerrodhullmotorsports.com.
